Today we offer you 5 easy and quick meal ideas to make for a road trip in a van !

Thanks to the stoves, fridge and utensils, you can cook good dishes ! These are therefore 5 meal ideas that we submit to help you at meal time : vegetable recipe or not, there is something for everyone. So put on your aprons and let’s go !

SUMMARY of our meal ideas :

First recipe : Veggie,Butternut-Feta-Walnut toasts.

⏱️ Preparation time : 15min, Cooking time : 10 to 20 min

👩‍🍳 Les ingrédients pour +/- 10 tartines :

  • sliced bread (wholemeal or not),
  • a butternut,
  • a block of feta,
  • +/- 200g of nuts,
  • oil/butter,
  • salt/pepper/herb of Provence.

STEP 1 : Peel and dice the butternut.

STEP 2 : Remove the seeds (option: grill in the pan to enjoy as an aperitif !).

STEP 3 : Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and then dip the dice in water for 10 to 20 minutes.

STEP 4 : Drain and sauté in a pan of butter.

STEP 5 : Crush and season.

STEP 6 : Toast your slices of bread in a pan and spread the butternut on the toast.

STEP 7 : Add on top of a cube feta and pieces of nuts!

Pour accompagner ces tartines, n’hésitez pas à compléter avec une petite soupe chaude aux légumes comme un velouté aux champignons ou à la saveur de votre choix ! C’est donc une recette végé facile à réaliser qui vous procurera du plaisir gustatif instantané ! Second recipe,and seasonal : Risotto veggie with mushrooms !

⏱️ Preparation time : 15 min, Cooking time: 30min.

👩‍🍳 Les ingrédients pour 4 personnes :

  • 350 g of mushrooms of Paris (such as chanterelles or porcini mushrooms for example),
  • 250 g of risotto rice,
  • 2 cubes of broth (poultry or vegetables),
  • parmesan,
  • 20 cl of white wine,
  • 10 cl of fresh cream,
  • butter/oil,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1 large onion,
  • parsley, salt, pepper.

STEP 1 : Cut the mushrooms into pieces then melt a little butter and add the cut garlic clove to the pan. Sauté for 2 min then add the mushrooms and cook +/- 3 min. At the end of cooking, add the washed and chiseled parsley. Salt, pepper and set aside.

STEP 2 : Bring to a boil the water in which you will add the 2 cubes of broth. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and add the minced onion for 3 min.

STEP 3 : In the pan, add the rice and cook, stirring for 2 min until a little transparent, then pour in the dry white wine. As soon as the white wine has been absorbed, add a little broth, stir and when it has been absorbed, add a new amount. Repeat the operation until there is no more broth.

STEP 4 : Add the crème fraîche, mushrooms, season and cook for 2 min over low heat. Add the Parmesan and you’re ready !

Troisième recette : le Cheese Naan, facile et économique 🧀

⏱ ️ Preparation time : 10 min, cooking time: 6 min.

👩‍🍳 Les ingrédients pour 4 personnes :

  • 300g of flour,
  • salt,
  • 5.5 g of baking powder,
  • 1 tbs/c of oil warm water,
  • 1 plain yogurt,
  • grated Gruyère.

STEP 1 : In a container, mix the flour, salt, yeast, oil and yogurt until you have a uniform, soft dough (add a little warm water if needed). Then, let stand for 10 minutes.

STEP 2 : Divide the dough into 6 and flatten the pieces to obtain a round shape.

STEP 3 : Garnish the dough with grated cheese then fold the dough and flatten it again. Repeat on the other 5 pieces.

STEP 4 : Cook in a pan, 3 minutes on each side until the dough swells.

Feel free to complete this recipe with a hot pumpkin soup ! An excellent economic recipe stung on Marmiton that you should not hesitate to make and redo ! Indeed, once adopted we do not set up any more !

Fourth recipe: salmon bagel

⏱️ Preparation time : 5min, Cooking time: 0min.

👨‍🍳Les ingrédients pour 4 personnes :

  • 2 drizzle of lemon juice,
  • dill,
  • 4 bagels,
  • 8 slices of smoked salmon,
  • fresh cheese (plain or herbs).

STEP 1 : Slice the bagels into 2 (option: grill in a pan).

STEP 2 : Spread the fresh cheese, add the smoked salmon, lemon juice, dill and enjoy !

Then you can accompany your salmon bagel with a hot leek and potato soup to complete this simple, easy and quick meal to make in a van. Recipe pricked on Marmiton.

Cinquième recette de saison : Penne Gorgonzola, Poires et Noix 🍐

⏱️ Preparation time : 20 min, cooking time : 15 min

👨‍🍳 Les ingrédients pour 4 personnes :

  • 350 g of spaghetti,
  • 200 g of gorgonzola,
  • 30 g of crushed nuts,
  • 2 tbss/c. to s. liquid fresh cream,
  • 2 pears,
  • 1 tss tsing. to s. butter,
  • Chives,
  • Salt /Pepper.

STEP 1 : Cook the pasta.

STEP 2 : While the pasta cooks: peel and cut the pears and then melt butter in a saucepan. Finally, heat the pears for a few minutes (not long attention !).

STEP 3 : Cut and add the gorgonzola then the cream and let it melt, coughing slowly. After shelling the nuts, add them and pepper. Be careful, gorgonzola is already well salted, taste before adding salt. Add fresh cream if necessary.

STEP 4 : Drain the pasta and add the sauce and mix. Option : add fresh herbs.
