NaïtUp Quatrö roof tent

Hire the NaïtUp Quatrö or iKamper Skycamp 3.0 roof tent and sleep under the stars in your own vehicle. Quickly installed on any model of car with roof bars approved for +75 kg installed beforehand by yourself. Spacious, it sleeps 3 to 4 people, ideal for families. Easy to open and close in 30 seconds, it can withstand winds of up to 100 km/h and prevents the ground becoming damp.

Weight and length criteria

Roof bars must be able to support the weight of the folded Hussarde tent. This weight varies depending on the model: 55 kg for the Duö, 63 kg for the TriUp, and 75 kg for the Quatrö. The minimum length of the bars must be 110 cm. If your bars are shorter, installing extension bars becomes necessary.  

Bar height and spacing

A clearance of at least 8 cm is required between the top of the roof bars and the vehicle’s bodywork to prevent any contact between the mounting system and the roof. The distance between the front and rear bars must be between 70 cm and 125 cm. For specific bar distances, solutions such as using extension bars and anti-crush shims can be considered.  

Specific adaptations

In the case of curved and very rigid roof bars, adding extension bars or shims may be necessary to offset their curvature. The NuFix mounting system is designed to fit a wide variety of bars, regardless of their shape or size.
